Manager as Coach: Activating Peak Performance

  • Traditional Classroom: 1-day
  • Virtual Instructor-led: Two 3-3.5 hour sessions or Three 2-hour sessions

An important part of a manager’s role is to empower and develop their team members to reach their full potential. Rather than simply giving orders, a manager-coach guides employees, providing support and feedback to help them grow both professionally and personally. This session will focus on using effective coaching behaviors together with a framework for coaching conversations that avoid defensiveness and promote joint problem solving.

At the end of this session you will be able to engage with team members using coaching behaviors that use three levels of listening, focused inquiry, and leverage a proven framework focused on collaborative discovery and growth.
